Mineral Makeup For Men

the gang with Jason Alexander

Makeup Artist Judie Tallman recently worked on promos for Curb Your Enthusiasm with Jason Alexander using Colorevolution because it easily and quickly creates a great looking skin with looking made-up.

Makeup has been used on men for camera purposes for many years but only recently has it gained acceptance in the everyday world. Makeup can help men cover up nicks from shaving, cover up their blemishes, abnormally large pores, and some other facial flaws. Light application. Is the key to looking great. Here are some tips and techniques for a no makeup look.

First apply a face primer.  Primers smooth out the skin so that the makeup goes on smoothly for a no makeup look.  Primers come in gel, liquid or solids. The gel type is best for camera because it has less oil and therefore less reflection. The liquid type can work well for everyday because it reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

Dust the entire face and the bald area of the head with mineral powder using the colorevolution pro foundation blush brush. Colorevolution is great to use because it is lighter than other powders yet still gives great coverage.

Apply Colorevolution natural blush to the talent’s face. Choose a blush that is one or two shades deeper than your natural tone. A great way to choose colors is the Starter Kit.

The Colorevolution Starter Kit contains a light foundation and one that is a little darker than the complexion but in the same color family. Use an extremely light hand so the face appears natural to the camera.

Brush the eyebrows in the natural direction they grow. Mix a little primer and an appropriate eyeshadow shade to fill in any missing spots in the brow area using a small brush. Brush eyebrows again in a natural direction to get rid of excess color.

Colorevolution Goes On Tour With Mackenzie Phillips

High On Arrival

Makeup Guru Marissa Pomerantz makes over Mackenzie Phillips as she launches her new novel with a global book tour. The book, entitled “High On Arrival” outlines the life and times of Mackenzie as she battled with fame and drug addiction. Mackenzie Phillips is still fabulous at 50 with a little help from Pomerantz and Colorevolution natural mineral cosmetics.

About Mackenzie Phillips:

Born into rock and roll royalty, flying in Learjets to the Virgin Islands at five, making pot brownies with her father’s friends at eleven, Mackenzie grew up in an all-access kingdom of hippie freedom and heroin cool. It was a kingdom over which her father, the legendary John Phillips of The Mamas & the Papas, presided, often in absentia, as a spellbinding, visionary phantom.
